Sit at the lever cross lat pulldown machine and secure your thighs under the pads. Keep your chest up and brace your core.

Grip the handles and start with your arms overhead. Don't let your shoulders rise toward your ears; keep your shoulder blades down.

Pull the lever arms down and slightly forward toward your upper chest, letting your elbows travel down along your sides, and pull your shoulder blades together.

Pause for a brief squeeze at the bottom and keep your chest open without leaning back.

Return the lever arms upward under control to a full stretch, maintaining tension in your back throughout the entire range of motion.
