    Stand facing a wall with your feet hip-width apart and lightly place your fingertips against the wall for balance.

  2. 02

    Brace your core, keep your knees slightly bent, and distribute your weight evenly across the balls of your feet.

  3. 03

    Raise your heels as high as you can with control and squeeze your calves at the top.

  4. 04

    Lower your heels slowly into a full stretch, keeping the movement aligned and your heels under control.

  5. 05

    Repeat at a steady pace, keeping your hips and upper body still.

You should feel it in your calves, especially at the top squeeze. You should not feel it in your hands or lower back.

Keep only light contact with the wall and do not lean on it so your calves do the work. Perform the movement slowly and use a full range of motion from the stretch to the highest lift.
