Bodyweight Standing Calf Raise
This strengthens your calves and ankle extension. Strong calves help with walking, running, jumping, and balance.

Stand with your feet hip-width apart and lightly hold onto a wall or rack for balance.

Brace your core and keep your knees nearly straight, with your weight evenly on the balls of your feet and your heels slightly off the floor in the starting position.

Press the balls of your feet into the floor and raise yourself under control onto your toes as high as your ankles allow.

Briefly squeeze at the top and control the movement without bouncing.

Lower your heels slowly into a full stretch and repeat.
