How to perform

§ 02 · Steps
  1. 01

Set up at a cable machine and attach a straight bar to the low cable. Stand tall about one step away from the machine and lightly brace your core.

  2. 02

Grip the bar with an overhand grip (palms facing down) at shoulder width, and keep your wrists neutral or slightly extended.

  3. 03

Curl the bar toward your shoulders by bending your elbows. Keep your elbows fixed in front of your torso and avoid swinging your body.

  4. 04

Pause briefly at the top and squeeze your forearm muscles.

  5. 05

Lower the bar slowly back to the starting position through a full, controlled range of motion without letting your shoulders roll forward.
