Assisted Pull-up

How to perform

§ 02 · Steps
  1. 01

    Set up on the assisted pull-up machine and select the assistance weight (more weight = more assistance).

  2. 02

    Grip the bar with an overhand grip slightly wider than shoulder-width, brace your core, and pull your shoulder blades back and down.

  3. 03

    Pull yourself up by driving your elbows toward your sides until your chin reaches bar level or slightly above it.

  4. 04

    Pause briefly at the top without letting your shoulders rise toward your ears.

  5. 05

    Lower yourself under control to full extension, allowing the assistance platform to follow the movement without bouncing.
