- 02
Sit with your back firmly against the backrest, brace your core, and place one leg in the working position while the other leg rests to the side.
- 03
Extend your knee under control until your leg is almost straight, and squeeze your quadriceps briefly without lifting your hips off the seat.
- 04
Slowly lower the weight back to the starting position by bending your knee, keep the movement controlled, and maintain the same alignment between your knee and toes.
- 05
Complete the desired repetitions with the same leg, then switch legs only after finishing the set.
Beginner's guide
§ 03 · GuideBuilds the quadriceps and improves knee extension strength. It helps with squats, stairs, and better leg control.
You should feel it in your quads. It should not feel like strain in your lower back, hips, or painful pressure in the knee.
A common mistake is using your hips to swing the weight or letting the stack slam down. Lift and lower with control, keep your back against the pad.
