Dumbbell Spin
This exercise develops your abdominal muscles' ability to resist rotation and keep your core braced throughout the movement.

Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell with both hands in front of your chest, with your elbows slightly bent.

Brace your core and keep your hips still, your chest up, and your back in a neutral position.

Rotate the dumbbell in a controlled motion around your body at chest height, transferring it from one hand to the other around the front and back of your torso.

Keep the movement smooth and reduce the size of the circle if your lower back starts to rotate or you lose your position.

Change the direction of the rotation halfway through the reps and finish by returning the dumbbell to the front of your chest.
