Dumbbell Side Bend

How to perform

§ 02 · Steps
  1. 01

    Stand with your feet hip-width apart and hold a dumbbell at your side with one arm straight. Keep your other hand at your side for support or behind your head.

  2. 02

    Brace your core, keep your chest up, and keep your hips still without rotating.

  3. 03

    Lower the dumbbell under control by sliding it down along your thigh, and bend sideways toward the weight as far as you can without leaning forward or backward.

  4. 04

    Return to the upright position by bracing your core and contracting the opposite side of your torso. Pause in the upright position.

  5. 05

    Switch sides and repeat the same steps on the other side.
