Stand or sit against a bench backrest, hold the dumbbells, and bring them to shoulder height with your palms facing forward.

Brace your core, keep your chest up, and pull your shoulder blades lightly back and down.

Press the dumbbells overhead in a controlled motion until your arms are fully extended without arching your lower back.

Lower the dumbbells slowly back to shoulder height and keep your elbows slightly in front of your torso.

You should feel it in your shoulders and a bit in your triceps. It should not be felt in your lower back or wrists.
A common mistake is arching your lower back as you press. Brace your core and press the dumbbells straight up with control.

Tips
§ 05 · TipsKeep your wrists neutral and the dumbbells directly above your elbows throughout the entire range of motion. Do not push your head backward; instead, tuck your chin slightly and let the dumbbells pass by your head.
