Beginner's guide

§ 03 · Guide
What it works

Chest dips build the chest, front delts, and triceps. They improve pressing strength for the gym and everyday pushing tasks.

What it should feel like

You should feel it mostly in your chest, with some work in the triceps. It should not feel like sharp pain in the front of the shoulders.

Most common mistake

A common mistake is staying too upright, which shifts the work to the triceps. Lean slightly forward and control the movement.
