Sit at the high cable row station, grasp the straight bar with an underhand grip (palms facing up), and plant your feet firmly.

Extend your arms up and forward, brace your core, keep your back straight and your chest up without bending at the hips.

Pull the bar under control toward your upper abdomen or lower chest by driving your elbows down and back, then pull your shoulder blades back and together at the end of the movement.

Squeeze briefly in the contracted position without leaning back or shrugging your shoulders.

Lower the bar slowly back to the starting position and allow your shoulder blades to move forward under control before the next repetition.
