How to perform

§ 02 · Steps

  2. 02

Grip the barbell with a shoulder-width overhand grip, pull your shoulder blades back and down, and brace your core.

  3. 03

Pull the barbell under control toward the lower edge of the bench beneath your chest, keep your elbows close to your body, and squeeze briefly at the top.

  4. 04

Lower the barbell back down to full extension without lifting your chest off the bench or arching your lower back.
