Beginner's guide

§ 03 · Guide
What it works

Builds chest, triceps and core stability. The uneven load helps develop strength for harder push up variations.

What it should feel like

You should feel it mostly in the working chest and triceps, with your core staying active. It should not be felt mainly in your lower back or front of the shoulders.

Most common mistake

A common mistake is letting the hips twist or the body collapse. Keep your core tight and stay in control through the whole movement.
