How to perform

§ 02 · Steps
  1. 01

    Lie on your back on the floor, straighten your legs, and extend your arms overhead.

  2. 02

    Brace your core and gently press your lower back into the floor.

  3. 03

    Simultaneously lift your upper body and keep your legs straight as you raise them toward each other, reaching your hands toward your feet to form a V position.

  4. 04

    Hold a brief squeeze at the top without excessively rounding your lower back.

  5. 05

    Lower yourself back to the starting position with control, and keep your heels and hands off the floor throughout the set if you want an extra challenge.

Keep your neck neutral and look toward your feet. Do not pull your head forward. If your lower back lifts off the floor or becomes painful, reduce the range of motion and perform the movement more slowly.
