Adjust the seat and handles of the dip machine so the handles are at chest level and your elbows are at about a 90 degree angle in the starting position.

Sit upright, brace your core, and keep your shoulder blades lightly pulled back and down.

Grip the handles and press them down by extending your elbows in a controlled motion without letting your shoulders rise toward your ears.

Pause briefly at the bottom and squeeze your triceps.

Return the handles upward slowly until your elbows are again at about 90 degrees, and keep tension on your triceps.
