What it works

Strengthens your lower back and improves core support. It helps with heavy lifts and everyday bending and lifting.

What it should feel like

You should feel it in your lower back and a bit in your glutes. It should not feel like neck strain or a pinch in your lower back.

Most common mistake

A common mistake is overextending or driving the movement with the hips. Brace your core and stop when your torso is straight.

Tips

§ 05 · Tips

Keep the movement focused on spinal extension rather than tilting your hips so the load stays on your back. Avoid hyperextension and keep your ribs down throughout the entire set.

The lever back extension provides stable loading and helps target the lower back through a controlled range of motion.
