    Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart and brace your core.

    Grip the jump rope handles and position your wrists slightly out to the sides at hip level, with the rope behind your heels.

  3. 03

    Rotate the rope mainly with your wrists and jump lightly from the balls of your feet so that the rope passes under your feet with each rotation.

  4. 04

    Keep your knees soft and land quietly on the balls of your feet with control, maintaining a steady rhythm and breathing.

Keep your jumps low and let your wrists do the work to prevent your shoulders from tensing. Adjust the rope length so that the handles reach approximately your armpits when you stand on the middle of the rope.
