How to perform

  1. 01

    Stand beside the cable machine and set the pulley to the lowest position. Attach a single handle.

  2. 02

    Grip the handle with the hand farthest from the cable using a neutral grip (thumb pointing up), take a half-step-wide stance, brace your core, and keep your chest up.

  3. 03

    Pull the handle diagonally across your body toward the opposite shoulder by bending your elbow. Keep your elbow close to your side and your upper arm stationary.

  4. 04

    Pause at the top and squeeze your biceps briefly without letting your shoulder rise or your torso rotate.

  5. 05

    Lower the handle back to the starting position under control and maintain cable tension throughout the movement before the next repetition.
