How to perform

  1. 01

    Stand upright and loop the resistance band around your ankles. Shift your weight onto your supporting leg and lightly brace your core.

  2. 02

    Lightly hold onto a wall or bar for balance and hinge slightly at the hips, keeping your pelvis in a neutral position.

  3. 03

    Drive your working leg's heel back and slightly upward with your knee almost straight until you feel your glute contract without arching your lower back.

  4. 04

    Pause briefly at the top, then return your leg to the starting position in a controlled manner while keeping your hips level.
