How to perform

§ 02 · Steps
  1. 01

Lie on your back and lean your upper body slightly back, supported on your forearms, or place your hands under your glutes. Brace your core.

  2. 02

Lift both legs straight off the floor and keep your lower back in a neutral position without overextending it.

  3. 03

Alternate small, quick up-and-down kicks with your legs, keeping your toes pointed toward the ceiling and the movement controlled.

  4. 04

Keep your hips still and continue for the prescribed reps or time without letting your heels touch the floor.

  5. 05

Finish the set by lowering your legs to the floor under control and relaxing your core.

Reduce the range of motion if your lower back lifts off the floor or begins to overextend. Make the exercise easier by raising your legs higher or slightly bending your knees if needed.
