Cable twist (down-up)
The down-to-up cable twist targets the obliques and develops rotational power with constant cable resistance.

Stand sideways to the cable so the cable is positioned low and to your side. Place your feet shoulder-width apart and keep a slight bend in your knees.

Grip the handle with both hands and keep your arms straight in front of your chest, brace your core, and keep your hips locked in place.

Pull the handle in a twisting motion from low to high and across your body toward the opposite shoulder. Allow your thoracic spine to rotate and keep your shoulders down without shrugging.

Pause at the top and squeeze your abdominal muscles.

Return the handle under control along the same path to the starting position without letting your hips rotate.
